Seven days on the western Lycian Way, from Fethiye to stages at Ölüdeniz, Faralya, Kabak, Alınca, Gey and Patara. A self-guided walking trip with booked guesthouses, a route book, GPS tracks and daily luggage transfers.

This seven-day trip follows a sequence of stages on the western Lycian Way. After arrival in Fethiye, the itinerary links Ölüdeniz to Faralya, Faralya to Kabak, Kabak to Alınca and Alınca to Gey, before a day devoted to Patara. You walk independently using the supplied route book and GPS tracks. Guesthouses are booked stage by stage and luggage is transferred daily. The itinerary combines coastal walking, the climb towards Alınca, ridge villages and a visit to Patara. Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Arrival in Fethiye — Arrival in Fethiye and collection of the route book for your self-guided walk. Your first night is by the water.
  2. Ölüdeniz – Faralya — The walk begins at Ölüdeniz on the trail above the blue lagoon and continues towards Faralya. This first walking day opens the coastal journey. Follow the route book and GPS tracks supplied for the trip.
  3. Faralya – Kabak — From Faralya, continue on foot towards Kabak on a coastal stage. The itinerary combines walking with an opportunity to swim in a cove.
  4. Kabak – Alınca — This stage leaves Kabak and climbs towards Alınca and its high viewpoints. The ascent is the defining feature of the day after the preceding coastal stages. Luggage travels separately through the daily transfer service provided for this trip.
  5. Alınca – Gey — Leave Alınca for Gey, passing through ridge villages. This stage continues the exploration of the heights after the previous day’s ascent. Walk independently using the trip’s route book and GPS tracks.
  6. Patara — The day is devoted to Patara, its expansive beach and its ancient city. Following the village-to-village stages, the itinerary brings together two aspects of the Lycian coast: the Mediterranean shoreline and ancient heritage.
  7. Free departure — End of the trip and return transfer to suit your flight.
