Booking conditions
These terms and conditions set out the procedures for booking, payment, modification, cancellation and delivery of the services offered by Aventures Anatoliennes. Any booking implies that the traveller has read the programme, the quote, the services included and not included as well as these terms and conditions, and that they accept them.

Aventures Anatoliennes is a travel agency established in Turkey, specialising in cultural trips, hiking tours, treks, individual stays and tailor-made travel.
Booking
A request for information or the sending of a quote does not constitute a definitive booking. The booking becomes firm after: – written confirmation from Aventures Anatoliennes; – acceptance of the quote, the programme and these terms and conditions; – receipt of the deposit or the agreed payment. Acceptance may be made by signature, electronic validation, written confirmation by email or payment of the deposit. The person booking on behalf of several participants undertakes to pass on to them the programme and these terms and conditions. The traveller must ensure that the chosen trip is suited to their state of health, their physical abilities, their experience and the announced level of difficulty.
Price and payment
The price is set according to the programme, dates, number of participants, accommodation, transport, activities and services indicated in the quote. Only the services expressly mentioned as included are covered by the price. Unless otherwise stated, the price does not include: – international flights; – meals indicated as at your own expense; – beverages; – personal expenses; – gratuities; – insurance; – passport or visa fees; – optional activities; – site entrance fees not expressly included. Unless specific conditions are indicated in the quote, payment is made as follows: – a deposit of EUR 400 per person upon booking; the exact amount is stated in your quote and on the payment page before you pay anything; – the balance no later than 35 days before departure. For any booking made less than 35 days before departure, full payment may be required at the time of confirmation. Card payment costs are included in the price shown and are never added as a surcharge. Any international bank transfer fees remain the responsibility of the traveller. The price may be revised before departure only in the event of a significant variation in the cost of fuel, taxes, charges or the exchange rate used to establish the quote. Any change will be explained and justified to the traveller.
Trip modification
Aventures Anatoliennes may modify the order of visits, schedules, accommodations, itineraries, transportation, or certain activities when necessary to ensure the safety of participants or the smooth running of the trip. A modification may notably be decided due to weather conditions, the state of roads or trails, the closure of a site, a change in transportation schedules, an administrative decision, or any circumstance beyond our control. Where possible, an equivalent service will be offered. Minor modifications that do not significantly affect the overall quality of the trip do not entitle the traveler to compensation. Any modification requested by the traveler is subject to availability. Additional fees and amounts charged by service providers remain at the traveler's expense.
Cancellations
Cancellation by the traveller Any cancellation must be sent in writing to Aventures Anatoliennes. The date of receipt of the request determines the applicable fees. The deposit paid at registration is non-refundable: it commits the accommodation, guides and carriers reserved for your trip. Unless specific conditions are stated in the quotation, cancellation fees are as follows: – from 60 to 31 days before departure: 20% of the total price, except for Mount Ararat and gulet cruising trips, for which the specific conditions stated in the quotation apply; – from 30 to 16 days before departure: 30% of the total price; – from 15 to 8 days before departure: 50% of the total price; – 7 days or less before departure: 100% of the total price. Flight tickets, permits, authorisations, activities, rooms or personalised services that have already been booked and are non-refundable may be charged in full. No refund is granted for a late arrival, an early departure or a service voluntarily not used. Cancellation by Aventures Anatoliennes Aventures Anatoliennes may cancel a trip when the minimum number of participants indicated in the programme is not reached or when exceptional and unavoidable circumstances prevent the trip from being carried out under normal and safe conditions. The traveller is informed as soon as possible. The sums due are refunded in accordance with the applicable legislation. No additional compensation is due when the cancellation results from exceptional and unavoidable circumstances or when the minimum number of participants is not reached within the announced timeframe.
Responsibility and Safety
When Aventures Anatoliennes acts as organiser, it is responsible for the proper performance of the services expressly included in the contract. The traveller must immediately report any difficulty during the stay in order to allow Aventures Anatoliennes to seek a solution on site. Aventures Anatoliennes cannot be held liable for a difficulty resulting from: – the behaviour or fault of the traveller; – failure to comply with the guide's instructions or safety rules; – inaccurate information provided by the traveller; – the unforeseeable act of a third party unconnected with the services; – exceptional and unavoidable circumstances; – delays, cancellations or changes decided by an airline or an independent carrier; – the loss, theft or damage of the traveller's personal belongings. For hikes, treks and outdoor activities, the traveller acknowledges that weather conditions, terrain conditions and safety requirements may lead to an adaptation of the programme. The guide or local representative may terminate the participation of a traveller whose behaviour, equipment, physical condition or failure to comply with instructions endangers their own safety or that of the group. Any resulting additional costs remain the responsibility of the traveller.
Formalities and Insurance
Each traveller is responsible for the validity of their passport, visa, and travel authorisations, and for complying with the health and administrative formalities applicable to their nationality. The general information provided by Aventures Anatoliennes does not replace personal verifications with the relevant authorities. Travellers must inform Aventures Anatoliennes of any medical condition, allergy, treatment, dietary restriction, or physical difficulty that may affect their participation in the trip. Insurance covering, as a minimum, medical expenses, repatriation, accidents, the planned activities, and search and rescue costs is strongly recommended. Cancellation, trip interruption, and lost luggage insurance is also recommended.
Complaints
Any difficulty encountered during the trip must be reported immediately to the guide, the local representative, or Aventures Anatoliennes so that a solution can be sought. Aventures Anatoliennes will endeavour to seek an amicable solution before any proceedings.
Applicable Law and Personal Data
Contracts concluded directly with Aventures Anatoliennes are governed primarily by the law of the Republic of Turkey. The choice of Turkish law does not deprive the traveller of the mandatory rights to which they may be entitled under legislation compulsorily applicable to their contract. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the competent authorities, consumer commissions or courts may be referred to in accordance with applicable law. Personal data is collected solely to process requests, prepare quotes, manage bookings, organise trips, make payments and comply with legal obligations. It may be shared only with the providers necessary for carrying out the trip, in particular hotels, guides, transport operators, airlines, insurers or competent authorities. Data is retained for the period necessary to manage the booking and comply with legal obligations. The traveller may request access to, correction of, or, where the law permits, deletion of their data.
