Centre-based hiking in Türkiye

On a centre-based trip you stay in the same place all week and set out on a different day hike each day, driven to the start of the route where needed. Nothing has to be moved from stage to stage, the rhythm stays steady, and taking a rest day does not break the trip.

Who is it for?

It suits you if you would rather unpack once, if you travel with walkers of different levels, or if you want to alternate walking days with quieter ones. It suits you less if you are looking for the continuous progression of a point-to-point traverse; a linear route stays more coherent for that.

What the offer must confirm

  • The chosen accommodation and the number of nights there
  • Each day in detail: distance, ascent and walking time
  • The daily transfers to the start of each walk
  • Which days are genuinely optional, and which meals are included

What this format does not change

The grade of each walk is set by the terrain: a fixed base does not make a day easier. Transfer distances, season and weather may lead us to reorder the days. Not every region suits this format; feasibility is checked before confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

Do we change hotels during the trip?

No, the principle is to keep the same accommodation; any exception is stated in the offer.

Can we skip a walking day?

Yes, that is one of the strengths of the format. Genuinely optional days are set out before departure.

Is luggage transported?

There are no stage-to-stage luggage transfers: your belongings stay in the room and you carry only a daypack.
