Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1: Erzurum — Welcome by our team at Erzurum airport and transfer to the hotel in the historic centre. Possible sightseeing depending on arrival time. Overnight in Erzurum.
  2. Day 2: Erzurum – Tortum falls – Yusufeli – Yaylalar — Drive to the Kaçkar Mountains via Tortum falls and Yusufeli, up to Yaylalar village. 6 nights in a guesthouse.
  3. Day 3: Ski – Gungormez valley – Modut plateau (3,000 m) — Ski climb up the Gungormez valley to Modut Tepesi, then descent by the same route to Yaylalar.
  4. Day 4: Ski – Olgunlar village – Covan Tepesi (3,000 m) — Climb to Olgunlar then Covan Tepesi, with views over the Hastav valley. Ski descent to the guesthouse.
  5. Day 5: Ski – Dupeduzu – Naletleme pass (3,100 m) — Climb via the Dupeduzu plateau to the Naletleme pass (3,100 m), then ski descent to Yaylalar.
  6. Day 6: Ski – Korahmet and Tasyayla plateaus – Mount Bulut (3,562 m) — Climb north via the Korahmet and Tasyayla plateaus to the Bulut summit (3,562 m), then ski back.
  7. Day 7: Ski – Dilberduzu – Hevek pass (3,275 m) or Deniz Golu lake (3,300 m) — Climb to Dilberduzu, then to the Hevek pass (3,275 m) or Deniz Golu lake (3,300 m). Ski descent to Yaylalar.
  8. Day 8: Yaylalar – Yusufeli – Erzurum — Return to Erzurum, with an optional visit to the Georgian monastery of Barhal. Overnight at the hotel.
  9. Day 9: Erzurum – departure — Transfer to Erzurum airport where the trip ends.
