Avicenna Hotel

In the heart of Sultanahmet, the Avicenna occupies a 19th-century Ottoman wooden house converted into a hotel in 1990. Its 48 Ottoman-style rooms are air-conditioned; some have a balcony looking over the Sea of Marmara or the Blue Mosque. The buffet breakfast is served in a lounge lined with Kütahya tiles or in the garden, and the Mekan Avicenna restaurant has panoramic views over the Sea of Marmara. Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Topkapı are within walking distance.
